About the Role:

Squadric is seeking a proactive and skilled Intermediate Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in the architecture, deployment, and continuous improvement of robust cloud services that support global digital operations at one of our clients.

If you’re passionate about cloud technology, have practical experience with Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD tools, and are excited about leveraging modern observability tools such as Datadog, we want to connect with you!

What You’ll Do:

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud architecture across multiple global regions.

• Take ownership of observability practices, utilizing Datadog to monitor, analyze, and proactively address system performance.

• Collaborate effectively within agile, cross-functional development teams and DevOps engineers.

• Support the full lifecycle of cloud applications—development, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.

• Contribute to automation strategies that reduce repetitive tasks, improve system reliability, and streamline operations.

• Actively participate in agile ceremonies, clearly estimating, managing, and documenting your tasks.

• Document operational procedures, create clear runbooks, and facilitate knowledge sharing.

• Respond promptly to production incidents, providing effective troubleshooting, escalation, and incident post-mortem analyses.

Your Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or cloud engineering roles.

• Mandatory hands-on expertise: Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps methodologies, Datadog, Docker.

• Familiarity (preferred but not required) with: ArgoCD, Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines, Databricks, SQL.

• Demonstrated success managing customer-facing cloud services with strict performance, availability, and SLA requirements.

• Strong experience in automation and scripting to minimize operational overhead and enhance efficiency.

• Comfortable working in hybrid and remote team settings, able to proactively communicate, request support, and ensure alignment.

• Relevant industry certifications (such as ITIL, Azure certifications, Cloud Architecture) considered a valuable asset.
